The work, funded by developers’ contributions to Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, includes an expanded fitness centre, upgraded changing facilities and a new space for community use.

The improvements aim to meet the growing demand from gym users of all ages while offering a flexible and more affordable space for community groups to use.

In addition, work is taking place to convert the upstairs lobby space into an informal drop-in space which will be available to center users to socialize and keep warm throughout the day.
